A link with the past...

After such a fantastic day at the SeaCity Museum, today we were incredibly lucky to have a special visitor, Dot Kendle. Her mother, Edith Haisman, was on board the Titanic and survived the sinking at the age of 16. Year 4 were absolutely fascinated to hear the passed on memories of this tragic event.

Year 4 Trip to Sea City Museum

This week, year 4 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Southampton Sea City Museum to launch their topic of 'The Sunny South'. They enjoyed a guided tour and workshop around inside the museum and also had time to explore the museum as a group trying on clothes and interacting with the displays!
